Ilford Galerie Classic paper has similar resistance to air pollutants as conventional photographic print media. It does not suffer from " gas fading" issues, and can be kept in both light and dark storage without protection from laminates, sleeves or glass.

Life expectancy of all inkjet media is influenced by humidity, light and the ink being used. In an unprotected display, indoors and away from direct sunlight, life expectancy of up to 20 years can be expected depending on the ink involved. ( Jet Tec ink has these archival properties with the relevant printers )

A combination of Fine Art and Pigment ink will yield 100 year archival images. Smooth High Gloss will yield 30 years
